Business Description

Kingswood United CIO is a charity based on Bransholme in the city of Hull. Our aim is to use the vehicle of physical health to help to improve people's mental health and well-being. 

The primary aim of Kingswood United CIO is to provide friendly, accessible services to the local community, offering local-based initiatives aimed at improving the local communities' physical and mental health, increasing social participation, building confidence, bridging the generational gap and empowering the future aspirations in one of the country's most deprived locations. 

Kingswood United CIO is committed to creating a supportive and inclusive environment. It works tirelessly to ensure that everyone, regardless of their background, has the opportunity to participate in and enjoy the benefits of sports. The organisation also strongly emphasises community engagement, often organising events and programs, fostering a sense of unity and belonging among participants and the wider community.

We offer support and guidance to families and other organisations and can also provide training for mental health and first aid.
